16. Painterly Sweep

Edinburgh, UK

31st October 2009

I co-led my first day trip with the Edinburgh University Photographic Society to Rosslyn Gorge near Edinburgh to photograph water. I had given a talk a few days ago on using different shutter speeds to create different effects, so here I used a slow shutter speed to show the sweeping, smoky quality of the water and to give a greater sense of movement.
