Het Pontje Virtual Reef

Every year in Amsterdam, over 15,000 bicycles are dumped in the city's canals. Yet in some parts of the world, such scrap metal is being used to create artificial reefs for rare fish.

This VR project explores the potential of these man-made hard substrate habitats as biodiversity hotspots

for Amsterdam's native and exotic marine life.
